Course Descriptions:

Faith
This course is designed to describe Bible faith including its definition, origin, purpose and development.

Prayer
The course introduces some of the key elements in developing a fruitful, effective, and fulfilling prayer life.

Blood Covenant
The course introduces the concept of covenants, particularly covenants of blood. It explores the cultural significance of covenants in the time of Abraham, the relationship between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, and the vocabulary of covenants.

Righteousness
The course is designed to describe biblical righteousness including its definition, benefits, and applications. Particular attention will be given to the “righteousness which is of faith” and to the Book of Romans.

Ephesians
The course on Ephesians models expository teaching and highlights several foundational doctrines of the New Testament. The course will follow three themes throughout Ephesians: The distinct activity of the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), key “In Him” truths, and the believer’s call to grow and mature in Christ.

Relating to Authority
Relating to Authority presents the biblical history of three kings in Israel: Saul, David, and Absalom. It examines them as models, cautionary and exemplary, for our relating to those God places over, under, and beside us in authority.

Jesus in the Gospels
The course is designed to look at the life and ministry of Jesus Christ including his unique relationship with Father God. It outlines why Christ is uniquely qualified.

Acts
The course highlights the key persons, patterns, and events found in the Book of Acts.

Galatians
This course will follow two main themes throughout Galatians: The superiority of the “Gospel of Grace” (i.e. Justification by Faith Alone) and its application in maturing believers.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhead. The course encourages an increased intimacy with God through an increased awareness of the personality and activity of the Holy Spirit. The course also expands on the manifestations and operations of the Holy Spirit. It is designed to describe, define, and distinguish between the public and private operations of the Holy Spirit and identifies several of His common manifestations. The course will also address the topics of spiritual revelation, discernment, prophecy, and how to be led by the Spirit.

The Servant’s Heart
The Servant’s Heart describes and imparts the heart of service possessed by God, and demonstrated to us in the person of Jesus Christ.

Old Testament Survey
This survey course will help students to gain a general overview of the Old Testament. It looks at the formation of the nation of Israel and examines the roles of the major & minor prophets.
